The US Open has been run strictly as an American Field Event since it's conception. It was created to emphasize athleticism, intensity, manners on birds, with the stamina and determination to finish the hour hunting strongly. The event is a one-hour qualifying series followed by a one-hour final series. The only event of it's kind in the Brittany Trial Game. The ultimate prize for any trainer and owner to obtain. This year the course was tough and conditions were warm and taxing, but after the hours were run Kimber came out on top. She was Dog of the Day and Top Qualifier for the first series. No other dog was able to complete the second day with a notable performance. Many went birdless or ran out of steam. Kimber plowed through and set her sights on the prize. Congratulations to this years 2020 US Open Champion JWB's Arctic Cat "Kimber" handled to the win by Tom Tracy Jr
